Continuing Education Provider Policies
Policy Compliance:
Center for Intuitive Practices, LLC (CIP) is committed to delivering high-quality continuing education programs for mental health professionals in accordance with Ohio CSWMFT Board, EMDRIA, NASW, and the NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy and all related directives. All programs are designed, implemented, and evaluated to ensure alignment with established professional, ethical, and educational standards.
Provider Information and Materials:
CIP maintains a commitment to transparency and accuracy in all program-related information. We ensure that:
All materials submitted to regulatory and credentialing bodies (including NBCC) are accurate, complete, and timely
Program descriptions, learning objectives, and presenter qualifications are clearly communicated to participants
All public-facing materials reflect current and accurate program information
Lawful and Ethical Conduct:
CIP conducts all educational and business activities in a responsible, lawful, and ethical manner. This includes:
Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Adherence to professional ethical standards, including those outlined by Ohio CSWMFT Board, EMDRIA,NBCC, ACA, APA, and NASW
Maintenance of integrity in program development, marketing, and delivery
Governance and Operational Standards:
CIP’s organizational structure, policies, and procedures are designed to ensure compliance with Ohio CSWMFT Board, EMDRIA, NASW, and the NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy requirements and best practices in continuing education. Our governance includes:
Oversight by a qualified Program Administrator with an advanced degree in a mental health field (Dr. Francine Packard overseeing counseling standards, and Dr. Weaver overseeing social worker standards).
Ongoing quarterly review of program content to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance
Operational practices aligned with professional standards and regulatory expectations
Non-Discrimination Policy:

Freedom of Belief:
CIP respects the diverse beliefs and values of all participants. Participation in any CIP program does not require adherence to any specific religious, spiritual, or political belief system.
Educational content may explore a range of theoretical perspectives; however:
No participant is required to adopt or agree with any belief or framework
All content is presented within an ethical, professional, and clinically appropriate context
Program Materials Quality:
CIP ensures that all continuing education materials are of high professional quality in both content and presentation. This includes:
Evidence-informed and clinically sound content
Clearly defined learning objectives
Structured and engaging educational design
Professional-quality visual, written, and audiovisual materials
Programs are designed to support the ongoing development of graduate-level mental health professionals.
Qualifying Program Content Policy:
Center for Intuitive Practices, LLC (CIP) is committed to developing and delivering continuing education programs that meet all NBCC Qualifying Program Content Requirements to ensure that trainings are appropriate for continuing education credit and support the professional growth of graduate-level counselors.
All qualifying CIP continuing education programs are designed to meet the following standards:
Alignment with NBCC Content Areas: All qualifying CE programs are directly aligned with one or more NBCC-approved content areas, ensuring relevance to the counseling profession and applicability to clinical practice.
Clearly Defined Learning Objectives: Each training includes clearly stated, measurable learning objectives that guide program design and demonstrate how participants will gain knowledge and skills consistent with professional standards.
Relevance to Professional Practice: Program content is specifically developed for graduate-level mental health professionals, focusing on enhancing clinical knowledge, therapeutic skills, ethical decision-making, and professional competence.
Clinically Sound and Evidence-Informed Content: All clinical material presented by CIP is grounded in well-established theories, evidence-informed practices, and accepted professional standards within the mental health field. Content related to diagnosis, assessment, and treatment is consistent with current professional frameworks, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) where applicable.
Current, High-Quality Program Materials: All educational materials are professionally developed, current, and research-informed, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and practical application in clinical settings.
Adherence to Ethical Standards: All program content is consistent with the NBCC Code of Ethics and other applicable professional ethical guidelines. Trainings emphasize ethical practice, cultural humility, and responsible clinical application.
Qualified Presenters and Authors: All CIP qualifying CE programs are developed and delivered by qualified professionals with appropriate education, licensure, and expertise in the subject matter. Presenter qualifications, including degrees, credentials, and relevant experience, are clearly identified in all program materials.
Recordkeeping and Program Records Policy:
CIP maintains complete, accurate, and secure records for all continuing education programs for a minimum of five (5) years.
Records maintained for each program include:
A roster of all program participants
A list of all live event presenters, including qualifications and content delivered
A list of all home study authors and presenters, including qualifications and content contributions
Program content descriptions and learning objectives
Participant evaluations and feedback
All program promotional and marketing materials
Program agendas and instructional materials distributed to participants
All records are securely stored using encrypted digital systems and backed up to prevent loss or unauthorized access.
Confidentiality and Data Security Policy:
CIP is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of participant information.
This includes:
Safeguarding participant identity, registration details, and course activity
Protecting all submitted materials, including evaluations and assessments
Utilizing secure, encrypted platforms (e.g., Thinkific and payment processors)
Limiting access to participant data to authorized personnel only
CIP does not sell, share, or distribute participant information to third parties except as required by law or credentialing bodies (e.g., NBCC, Ohio CSWMFT Board, EMDRIA, NASW).
Intellectual Property and Content Use:
CIP respects and upholds all intellectual property and privacy rights. We ensure that:
All program materials are either owned by CIP or used with appropriate permission or licensing
No materials infringe upon copyright, trademark, or other legal protections
Participant information and submitted materials are handled with confidentiality and care
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of CIP materials is strictly prohibited.
Cancellation Policy:
CIP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to unforeseen circumstances
Participants will be notified promptly and offered:
A full refund, or
Transfer to another training
Program Information Disclosure Policy:
For every continuing education program, CIP provides complete and accurate information to participants through advertising and in our Thinkific learning platform, including but not limited to:
Program registration requirements
Detailed content description and learning objectives
Names and qualifications of all presenters or authors
The number of continuing education hours offered
CIP contact information
Grievance Policy:
Feedback and Grievance Resolution Procedure
The Center for Intuitive Practices (CIP) values your input and welcomes the opportunity to address any concerns or questions you may have as a program participant. If you have grievances, inquiries about continuing education approvals, refund requests, or any other concerns, please reach out to our Center for Intuitive Practices team by completing the provided form or sending an email to support@centerforintuitivepractices.com.
Upon receiving your request, any grievances will be discussed at our quarterly team meeting, attended by CIP leadership. This leadership team includes Dr. Francine Packard, the founder and CEO, and Dr. Rachel Weaver, the Director of Continuing Education. We commit to responding to your requests within five business days following our decision on the grievance. Additionally, CIP conducts monthly team meetings and quarterly Diversity and Inclusion Committee meetings, where, depending on the nature of the grievance, it may be addressed.
In the event that you feel your rights as a learner have been violated or disrespected, you also have the right to file a complaint with any of the continuing education approval bodies connected to our training programs. These organizations include, but are not limited to, the EMDR International Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, the Association of Social Work Boards, and the Ohio Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists Board. We hope to collaboratively reach a satisfactory resolution to any issues that may arise.
Please note that we only offer Full CE Credit for attendance. To receive credit, you must be present for the entire day of a live training session, whether in-person or live via Zoom. Partial credit is not currently available. If you are unable to attend the entire training, please contact us at support@centerforintuitivepractices.com to discuss alternative options.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your participation more than two weeks before a scheduled event, you are entitled to a full refund, less a 5% processing fee, or the option to apply the amount paid toward a future training with the Center for Intuitive Practices. If you cancel less than two weeks before the event, you are entitled to a 50% refund or the option to apply the payment toward a future CIP training. Exceptions to this policy are made only for medically documented reasons or family deaths. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. In the case of inclement weather leading to training cancellation, your registration will be moved to the rescheduled date. If the new date is not suitable for you, we can provide you with an alternative date or a refund. Please note that if you voluntarily terminate your training or leave it early for any reason, you are not eligible for a refund. All other situations will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Replacement Documents Policy
Should you lose or require replacement documents such as certificates of completion, CE verification, or wall certificates, we can replicate them for you. However, CIP reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of $10.00 per document if the request is made more than 30 days after the document's original issue date. For any questions or concerns regarding replacement documents, please contact us at support@centerforintuitivepractices.com.
Social Media Policy & Contacting Dr. Francine Packard & Dr. Rachel Weaver
Please be aware that we cannot provide advice related to diagnosis or treatment to individuals who are not our direct clients or consultees, and this includes interactions over social media. Any advice of this nature should be maintained within client or consultation records, following the appropriate privacy and confidentiality standards. Participating in our social media platforms, including Private Messaging, does not establish a professional relationship between you and the CIP staff, faculty, or associates. We kindly request that you refrain from using Private Messaging on any of the CIP pages, whether personal or professional, for business-related queries. This includes requests for treatment providers and professional consultation questions. Instead, please direct all your inquiries to support@centerforintuitivepractices.com.
We encourage you to initiate discussions in groups that Dr. Francine Packard and Dr. Rachel Weaver manage for students and consultees. While our CIP professionals aim to be interactive in these groups, we may need to establish boundaries if conversations venture into the realm of professional consultation. Please be aware that messages sent to our social media inboxes may not always receive a direct response.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for threatening or abusive behavior directed towards CIP professionals or any members in the CIP community forums. Such behavior will result in immediate blocking or banning from all groups affiliated with CIP businesses and may be reported to the appropriate social media groups at the discretion of CIP leadership. Harassment, racist behavior, or hate speech towards other members on these forums or pages will also result in an immediate ban.

All venues used for in-person trainings adhere to ADA compliance standards.
